Ervin R. Brinker is Chief Executive Officer of Summit Pointe in Battle Creek,
Michigan. Prior to accepting this position, he was the
Executive Director for Community Mental Health Services of Montcalm County for
ten years. Other work experiences
include elementary school teaching and management in the private sector. Erv received a Bachelors degree in Liberal
Arts combined with a teaching certificate from Wayne State University and a
Masters in Administration from Central Michigan University.
Erv
currently works with his staff and other organizations to provide excellence in
mental health services in Calhoun County. He continuously strives to develop an atmosphere conducive to creative
and innovative thinking to enable the organization to be most effective and
efficient in responding to the needs of customers.
Erv
has presented at the National Council, Family Service Centers in Florida,
Mental Health Corporations of America, National Council for Community
Behavioral Healthcare, Open Minds and with numerous other organizations
regarding teambuilding, board governance models, organizational structure,
managing change and communications.
